Yes, 9 out of the top 25 open up the season vs. a 1-AA opponent.
I may be the first person to bring this up, but Julio Jones is good. I'm trying to temper my excitement about the recruiting class, thinking maybe they're overratted. They haven't played a game yet, they can't be that good. But I believe they are. Just looking at them working out there, you could take their numbers or names away and you could still pick them out.
It's not that the players Alabama had were sub-par, there are some great players and great athletes that were already here. But this group of freshmen is extraordinary and will be the centerpiece of the group that will bring Bama back to national promenience. If 50 players contribute to any single game for a team, I predict this year that 10 to 12 of those players will be freshmen for Bama this year.
